The 5000 incorporates flawless design, engineering, construction, and finishing techniques thatrnreflect her Tiara heritage. The 5000 also embraces new technology, resources, and materialsrnthat enable her to reach beyond that heritage - establishing new parameters in design andrnconstruction. For style and comfort, the 5000 offers 2 Floor Plans. Plan A features a huge salonrnwith dinette, opposing lounge/entertainment center, aft galley, guest/day head, large owner'srnstateroom (with private head), and a completely private guest stateroom (with entry to guest/dayrnhead).rn

The 5000 Express cockpit is designed around functionality and comfort. To port a large Lounge sits six comfortably, with plenty of stowage below. The adjacent dual Admiral Stidd helmrnseat features 8" of forward and vertical movement and has a backrest that reclines 20 degrees.rnThe helm is all Tiara - with plenty of open space for electronics and tilts aft to provide easyrnaccess to wiring. A standard wet bar is just aft of the helm, featuring sink with cutting board,rnglass and bottle stowage, ice maker, refrigerator, and 120V outlet. The lower cockpit hasrnmolded-in forward and aft-facing seating, plus a convenient retractable floor table that alsornconverts to a huge sunpad. A handy transom storage trunk features 100 cubic feet of easyrnaccess storage. And the standard 60" swim platform includes a recessed hand rail andrnconcealed slide-out S.S. swim ladder.rn

The standard Teak interior and accompanying teak hardwood floor is a spacious and elegantrnexample of Tiara quality. Two floor plans are available - standard Plan A, with two staterooms,rnor optional Plan B with three staterooms. The Plan A galley features corian counter tops and sinkrnas well as a recessed three burner electric cook top. The guest stateroom has double twin berthsrnthat are quickly converted to a king-size bed. The guest or day head sits just forward of thernguest stateroom, and can be entered from the salon or the stateroom. To port, a large U-shapedrndinette seats 8. The starboard L-lounge/ entertainment center has a built-in television, VCR,rnand Bose stereo system with multi disc CD changer and satellite speakers. Tiara features custom 24V DC and 120V/240V AC electrical system with master distributionrnpanels in the engine room. There is one 120V 30 amp 65' dockside power with "pigtail"rnadapter, aft. One 240V AC 50 amp 65' dockside power cord with Glendinning cable recoiler,rnaft. One 30 amp 24V battery charger. A 24V DC battery system with gel cell batteries andrnbattery switches. A 12V DC system for helm electronics, electrical bonding system, "smartrnboosting" isolation transformers, and a battery parallel system are all standard. An optional 24VrnInverter is available along with additional 8.0kw generator and forward deck shore powerrnhookups.

The galley on the 5000 Express is a well thought-out working area. It includes corianrncountertops and sink, and a recessed three burner electric cooktop. There is a built in coffeernmaker, microwave/convection oven and Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer. The optionalrndishwasher, garbage disposal and washer/dryer unit provide all the comforts of home. Stowagernis plentiful and even features a pull-out pantry below the island bar.

Tiara Yachts always keeps safety in mind during the construction and engineering of all boats,rnand the 5000 Express in no different. While moving from transom to bow, there are plenty ofrnS.S. grab rails to assist your movement forward. The Tiara Diamond Pattern non-skid helpsrnassure footing, and wide walkways make the transition to the foredeck area safe. A fixed firernextinguisher system manual/automatic is in place as well as handheld extinguishers. TiararnYachts complies with all U.S.C.G and international navigational lighting and U.S.C.G. andrnB.I.A. ventilation standards. The yacht is certified by the N.M.M.A. and CE (european)certified.

The 5000 is powered by two CAT 3406 E engines which produce 800hp at 2300rpm's. Therernis a Power assisted Teleflex hydraulic steering system with 22" S.S. destroyer helm wheel.rnBronze "I" struts and highspeed axe head rudders. Tiara uses Aquamet 22 H.S. 2-3/4" proprnshafts and water-cooled, face-seal stuffing boxes. CAT "EMS" dual engine instrumentation givernall vital engine statistics and an oil changing system for engines, transmissions, and generatorrnis standard. The engine room is lined with acoustical insulation and overhead fiberglass linerrnand lighting system. Other standard equipment include Racor fuel filters / water seperatorsrnmounted on S.S. brackets; raw water intake strainers; vibration mounts on the engine andrngenerator; anti-corrosion barrier coated fuel tanks and two fuel selection valves. An optional allrnchain windlass system is available as well as remote spotlight mounted on either the pulpit.rn

The Tiara deck features a transferable 5 year limited warranty. It is constucted with a gelcoatrnouter layer, and handlaid fiberglass and balsa core with vinylester resin. It features custom Tiararndiamond pattern non-skid surfaces, three forward deck hatches with screens, and plenty ofrnmolded-in, recessed portlights. And drop- down engine room access from the helm area as wellrnas a large access from the lower cockpit. Six 10" spring cleats, and four 12" mooring cleats.rnTiara's custom composite windshield frame with tempered safety glass and powered openingrncenter section. It includes the Tiara custom washer/wiper system, and safety hand rails. Thernarea aft of the windshield is a charcoal gray gelcoated nonglare surface. There is a foredeck sunrnpad area complete with drink holders, storage area, and a 316L S.S. handrail.

This timeless classic Tiara Express was recently donated to a reputable maritime institution. Therefore ownership can only be achieved via a lease with an option to buy after a 36 month lease period. The terms of the lease/option are very accommodating for the right yachtsman. Vessel has had the Aft fuel tank replaced August 2023. CATS just had the 1,000 check in 2022, generator removed, rebuilt & reinstalled with new pan.

The lease/purchase requires a one third payment to take possession followed by 12 quarterly installments over a 36 month lease (no interest) equal to one third of the agreed selling value. Upon completion of the 36 month (12 quarterly payments) lease the lessee can opt to take title by paying the remaining third of the agreed selling price. Lessee will be required to maintain insurance indemnifying lessor throughout the lease.
