Big yacht, big success: the second unit of the Pershing 140 Touch Me was delivered last July. The flagship of the Pershing Yachts brand, this boat is built entirely in aluminum, is a perfect synthesis of innovation, unique style, and impetus towards the future.
Dominating, powerful, and magnetic but also electrifying, exciting, and fun. Pershing 140 offers an unparalleled sailing experience that is winning over more and more enthusiasts thanks to a fantastic mix of engineering, design, and technology. Confirming this 140-mania, we now have the delivery of the second unit, which took place in July.
The result of the collaboration between architect Fulvio De Simoni, the Strategic Product Committee headed by Piero Ferrari, and the Group’s Engineering Department, Pershing 140 Touch Me was built at the Superyacht Yard in Ancona, Italy: Ferretti Group’s shipyard specialized in the construction of super and mega yachts over 40 meters made in steel and aluminum.

The exterior design, which is developed on two decks and a large sun deck, features the characteristic sleek lines, emblematic of the typical sporty and competitive spirit, joined with a combination of new elements and iconic brand details, like the two side wings integrated into the superstructure at the beginning of the walkways.
Moreover, other noteworthy features include the raised helm station directly connected to the sun deck, the area dedicated to the owner on the main deck, and the beach area that can open fully on three sides.
Pershing 140 Owner’s Suite
Compared to the first unit, outfitted with an entertainment room at the owner’s request, this hull has a private full-beam owner’s suite with double bed, which is accessed from a studio with lounge. A large walk-in closet and a spacious bathroom complete the layout. This yacht is also embellished by the use of high-quality materials and furnishings by the best luxury design brands, including: Poltrona Frau, a long-time partner of Pershing, Minotti, Artemide, Roche Bobois, Molteni, and Fontana Arte.
Pershing 140 Beach Club
Among the secrets of the success of Pershing 140 Touch Me, it should be mentioned that architect Fulvio De Simoni had the opportunity to design both the exterior lines and the style of the interior furnishings, which allowed him to combine the sporty forms with the requirements of livability, brightness, and visibility of the interior spaces. You can see this synergy, for example, in the bow area, where the side windows follow the movement of the spaces of the master cabin, arranged on two levels, while the “skeleton” of the structures framing the glass becomes a decorative element of the entire wall. For this purpose, an in-depth kinematic study of the blinds was carried out so that their shape would reflect the complex sections of the hull.
Another goal achieved: to transmit through the design of the furnishings and décor the same sportiness expressed by the exterior design.
Pershing 140 Touch Me has four MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines delivering 2600 mhp and reaches 38 knots top speed and 35 knots cruising speed.
