Ferretti Yachts 500, 15.33 m (50.4 ft) long and 4.29 (14.2 ft) wide, is the result of the collaboration between the Product Strategic Committee headed by Piero Ferrari, the Ferretti Group’s Engineering Department, architect Filippo Salvetti for the exterior design, and design studio IdeaeItalia for the new interior design concept. The exteriors follow in the footsteps of the philosophy launched with the latest models in the range, integrating it with interesting new features such as the aerodynamic design and the sleek, streamlined shapes.

The stern features new solutions and generous spaces, while the profile of the hull reveals an enhancement of the windows, characterized by wide, modern shapes. In the exterior spaces, design meets function. Ferretti Yachts 500 revolutionizes life on board by preserving the characteristic elements that create a family feeling with the brand’s larger vessels, such as the stern swimming platform which, when submerged, reveals steps for completely safe access to the sea and it is equipped with a convenient latest-generation lift system.

As for the exterior spaces, ample space and natural light are the secret to well-being. In fact, Ferretti Yachts 500 is the perfect choice for cruising in the utmost comfort, starting from the entrance to the interior spaces of the main deck. The glass door leading to the lounge ensures perfect communication between outside and inside, also thanks to the tilting glass window, and the strategic position of the galley makes it possible to serve the cockpit as well.
As part of a brand-new approach, there are two different interior design moods. Owners can select the one that best suits their taste: Classic, with warm hues, or Contemporary, which is inspired by the colors of the Mediterranean.

In the Contemporary mood, inspired by the colors of Santorini, the dominant wood is oak in various sandy shades on bulkheads, furniture and parquet floors, and in white tones for the glossy and matte lacquers. Glass, polished steel, and fabrics in shades of grey, light blue, and beige are masterfully combined to create a sophisticated, contemporary atmosphere.

The Classic mood, on the other hand, comprises warm, intense colors inspired by the town of Portofino. A prominent role is played by dark oak, combined with glossy and matte lacquers in shades of black and white. Brown and beige fabrics and leathers are juxtaposed with shiny nickel and dark marble-effect stoneware in the bathrooms, adding timeless style.
The new Ferretti Yachts 500 is fitted with twin Cummins QSB 6.7 engines delivering 550 mhp, for a top speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots. The new yacht will also be equipped with a package of Humphree interceptors trim tabs with automatic functions to ensure the maximum ease of use and optimize fuel consumption. It can also be equipped on request with gyroscopic stabilization to guarantee the maximum stability at anchor and during navigation.
On this first unit, the inside helm station on the main deck has three touchscreen monitors, one 9’’ and two 12”. Beside the pilot seat, the layout of the navigation instruments has also been optimized. The offer is completed by the optional joystick with docking mode functionality, which makes it possible to maneuver with extreme ease and comfort in confined waters. The external helm station on the flybridge is equipped with a single 12” monitor on the first unit; alternatively, a 9” monitor is available on the standard version.
