Custom Line is always proud to see our yachts–and the teams that designed and built them–get recognition in the industry for their creativity and hard work. Here are two awards received for the Custom Line 106′ and the Custom Line Navetta 33.
Custom Line 106′ Planing Yacht
WORLD SUPERYACHT AWARDS
During a unique year of a global COVID-19 pandemic, Custom Line stayed the course and won at the World Superyacht Awards in late November 2020. Custom Line 106’ motoryacht IV Dream was a winner.
This superyacht in the Custom Line Planing line was awarded the top prize in the “Semi-Displacement or Planing Motor Yachts Below 500GT 30m to 34.9m” category at the virtual presentations for the World Superyacht Awards 2020.
Organized by Boat International, recently designed yachts were awarded for technical features, style, functional innovative technology, and design solutions.
The panel of judges gave M/Y IV Dream points for the sleek, streamlined, contemporary design of the Custom Line 106’, a collaboration between Francesco Paszkowski Design and Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department.
Noted by the judges were the open exterior spaces and 220 square meters of interconnected walkable surfaces, from the bow to the flybridge. Other features of note were the custom interiors and natural light. The Ferretti Group’s patented DMT (Dual Mode Transom) system for the garage and the yacht’s excellent performance, safety, and comfort took high marks.
The prize awarded to Custom Line 106’ IV Dream demonstrates the brand’s excellence in design innovation and construction quality of the entire fleet from 30 to 42 meters.
Custom Line Navetta 33 Yacht
BEST INTERIOR DESIGN AWARD
The Custom Line Navetta 33 won Best Interior Design in its class at the Boat International Design & Innovation Awards in 2017.
Custom Line’s first hull in the Navetta 33 line, hull number 1 named M/Y Telli, took the honor for the below 399 gross tons yacht category in recognition of the yacht’s innovative technology and design. The Navetta 33 was recognized for excellence in interior space management and balanced volumes. Judges credited the work as elegant and functional and praised the designers’ furniture, accessories, and lighting choices and designs. The yacht conveys a genuine sense of refinement with great class.”
Alberto Galassi, Ferretti Group’s CEO, owns a Navetta 33 himself.
”…This award from such an authoritative panel underlines the exceptional credentials of the Navetta 33, which has enjoyed prompt commercial success. It’s an innovative yacht that combines visual appeal and liveability, setting stylistic standards that will have a big impact on the nautical scene in the coming years,” Galassi said.
The Custom Line Navetta 33 made an American debut in 2018 at the Miami Yacht Show. The Ferretti Group also debuted the Riva 56’ Rivale and the Ferretti Yachts 920.
