Vessel Walkthrough
The 2006 56 Viking OSPREY III can easily be boarded from her swim platform or straight into the cockpit. Once on board you cannot help but feel her wide 18’2” beam. This beam allows for the cockpit to easily accommodate a fishing team or party crowd. The centerpiece of the cockpit is perhaps the coolest and most ingenious rocket launcher I have ever seen. The 7 rod launcher, when not being used for fishing has a custom slide out MAGMA propane grill for dockside or underway barbecues. Additional cockpit features include:
Enter the Main Salon through the automatic door from the cockpit. Her interior is beautifully crafted in high gloss teak wood and trim. The wood is in excellent shape, and she has been redecorated tastefully. She has NO CARPET. Instead, she features durable wood tone Vinyl flooring throughout. Other salon highlights include:
Just forward on the salon main deck level we have a fully equipped galley to port and a dinette to stbd. The galley counter tops are brown speckled granite. She has a 4 burner electric cooktop, deep stainless steel sink, and microwave oven. Additional items include:
Between the galley and dinette lies a staircase leading down to the lower accommodations. The 2006 56 Viking OSPREY III has a spacious three stateroom two head layout. Immediately to starboard is the large guest two bunk stateroom. The bunks are arranged perpendicular with the lower berth athwartships and oversized. The second bunk is elevated fore and aft over storage cabinets. Just fwd of the elevated bunk is a cedar lined hanging locker. This stateroom has inside access to a head that also doubles as a day head with hallway access. The stackable washer dryer is housed inside the head adding to stateroom volume. State room and head highlights include:
Across the hallway to port, is the master stateroom. Because of the added beam and improved layout the master is much larger than the 55’ predecessor. The configuration is athwartships with an island queen berth, duel mirrored cedar lined hanging lockers aft. Additional master stateroom highlights include:
In the fore peak of the 2006 56 Viking OPSPREY III is the third and final VIP stateroom. She features a two berth v shape arrangement with custom HMC mattresses. Additional VIP stateroom features include:
Fly bridge is easily accessible from starboard side cockpit ladder. The 56 Viking features the largest and best laid out flybridge in her class. She has excellent visibility with ample seating and storage. Flybridge features include:
