Custom Line Navetta 30 Cruising

There’s a new perfect circle in the yachting world, ready to conquer the hearts and minds of owners and enthusiasts: it’s the new Custom Line Navetta 30. This new yacht brings together the architectural language of seafaring tradition, the use of living materials, the finest workmanship and the power of light.

At 28.43 m (93 ft) in length and a beam of 7.3 m (24 ft), Navetta 30 is the result of the collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee, led by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. The yacht is the first project with exteriors designed by architect Filippo Salvetti and interiors by architecture and design firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel.

An in-depth approach to the design process, referencing the hallmarks of the finest shipbuilding tradition, has generated the many distinctive features that make Navetta 30 a new icon of the sea. They range from the choice of natural, living materials like leather, wood, and rope, to an unprecedented celebration of light, not to mention intentional and reiterated references to the circle as a perfect shape.

This superyacht expresses a dynamic personality with taut, sweeping lines and with volumes, performance, and comfort on par with much larger yachts, and an exterior design in which form and function are perfectly balanced. Big windows set in the hull, decks with over two meters of headroom and very generous areas in the stern and bow convey an immediate sense of spaciousness. The result is a different way to experience the yacht, in which the remarkable integration and interconnection between interior and exterior spaces is evident.

The interiors were designed with a special focus on the use of space, optimizing the yacht’s volumes and enhancing the functional value of the entire surface area available. All the furniture and furnishings are custom-made using sophisticated handcrafting and cabinetmaking techniques. Special care has been lavished on the lighting design, on which work began right from the outset to ensure the perfect integration of architecture and light.

Navetta 30 has four livable decks featuring every comfort, with volumes reaching over 320 m2 (1,050 ft2) of total space, and can accommodate ten guests in five cabins, with an owner’s suite on the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck.

The yacht has a transatlantic range of about 2,100 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots, up to a top speed of 14 knots. The raised helm station on the upper deck is fitted with the LOOP system by Naviop-Simrad, which integrates the management of propulsion, navigation, and monitoring functions in the same advanced and intuitive interface, consisting of six 24′ touch screen monitors on this first hull.

Confirming the priority that Custom Line gives to safety and comfort, Navetta 30 is classified in CE category Class A, with volumes never reached before in this market segment.
