Custom Line Planing Line

Equally as luxurious as Custom Line’s Navetta line is the yacht maker’s Planing line. These high-performance yacht models add the element of speed to the equation with the Custom Line Planing 120’ and Planing 106’.

CUSTOM LINE PLANING YACHT 120′

Custom Line Planing 120’ hits the seas with an exciting profile of strong bow to stern lines. Quick to turn heads, this yacht is sleek and powerful with a more aggressive and dynamic appearance. With extra generous hull windows and floor-to-ceiling deck windows, there is a blend between the interior and the exterior for expanded contact with the natural world of the sea.

Ever lustrous, the Planing 120’ incorporates elements of the automotive world, as well as aspects of residential architecture for a modern atmosphere both inside and out. Striking in the use of colors and shapes, the heavily tinted windows and metallic gray hardtop lend to the overall strong appearance of the yacht.

Breaking more barriers, the yacht is the first of Custom Line’s planing yacht models designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design in collaboration with the Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee and Engineering Department.

At just more than 125 feet (38.1 meters) in length with more than 7 feet (2.1 meters) of draft, the use of carbon fiber minimizes the weight while increasing structural strength for top efficiency.

Spacious with just over 25 feet (7.6 meters) in beam, the design optimizes all space onboard with an innovative hull design while retaining a formal simplicity. Five staterooms and 10 bathrooms enable complete comfort for both yacht owners and guests. With a contemporary cockpit design and a unique large window, the area’s two sections can be opened separately.

CUSTOM LINE PLANING YACHT 106′

Following the 120’, Custom Line’s Planing 106’ is the second Francesco Paszkowski designed yacht. The naval architect worked closely with the Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee and Engineering Department. Margherita Casprini collaborated on the interior design.

At nearly 108 feet (32.82 meters) in length overall, and nearly 24 feet (7.30 meters) in width, the  Custom Line’s Planing 106’ offers the best in outstanding hydrodynamic performance with almost 7 feet of draft. Unique is the yacht’s 220 square meters of connected exterior floor.

There are five staterooms and nine separate bathrooms. Up to five yacht crew are accommodated in the foredeck with a captain’s cabin and two double crew cabins, each with separate bathrooms.

A tender and toys are accessible through Ferretti Group’s patented Dual Mode Transom (DMT) system. It features double door movement and a ramp to keep the area dry. Exterior stairs are hidden during transit for a sleek and clean appearance. Slid into the hatch when at dock or anchor, passengers can again access the stairs to the yacht’s garage for a Williams Diesel Jet 505 tender and a three-person jet ski.

Yacht owners are given several options to configure the foredeck, including space for a spa and whirlpool tub. Steel lifelines offer added protection for guests enjoying the sun and sea. This foredeck area is protected by a sleek hardtop with skylights for added light. For owners with additional sun preferences, Bimini tops or canopies can be added to shade any part of the deck.

The raised helm station features an integrated touchscreen bridge designed in collaboration with Naviop-Simrad for single direct interface control of all yacht functions. Equipped with two 2217-mhp MTU 16V 2000 M86 engines, the Custom Line 106′ is capable of a maximum speed of 23 knots, with a comfortable 20-knot cruising speed.

For the smoothest of navigation, the electro-hydraulic stabilizing fins offer underway and zero-speed modes.

Electronic, telecommunication, entertainment, and IT company C.N.Sat worked with Custom Line to incorporate an innovative entertainment system in the lounge. Created for iPad management, the technology can be extended throughout the yacht for use on mobile devices.
