Overview
WORTHY is a high-quality 85’ Raised Pilothouse built by Burger Boat Company. Built as SEAQUESTER for a very knowledgeable yachtsman she remained under her build ownership for 12 years with the same captain from build until sold. She remained professionally kept during her years prior to becoming WORTHY. The original building requirement was to build a comfortable, optimized speed and economy yacht with a cruise speed of 19 knots (max 24kts) on her Caterpillar 3412. Present hours on WORTHY’s mains are under 2000 hours since major overhaul. Additional requirements were to build a self-sufficient vessel with large vessel equipment including a Marine Sanitation Device, Atlas Classic Shore Power frequency converter with generator auto start and load sharing, Alpha Laval fuel polishing equipment, Watermaker and much more.
Key Features
Walkthrough
One can enter WORTHY amidship on either side of the vessel or from the stern via the swim platform and aft deck. When entering WORTHY from the spacious aft deck one will enter the full-beam main salon through a door with a glass panel. The aft salon bulkhead has two large floor-to-ceiling windows. The windows throughout the main deck are larger offering a light and airy feel. In the main salon, one will find a custom American Walnut cabinet with ample storage and a pop-up 55” TV. The salon has a beautiful custom-built L-shaped settee with built-in storage and a queen berth pull-out. Two fabric chairs are facing aft with a large square-shaped coffee table with storage within. Going forward from the salon one will find a gorgeous American Walnut dining table with 8 fabric chairs. On either side of the dining table, expands with leaf, outboard one will find a custom American Walnut serving cabinet with ample storage within. Forward of the dining table, one will find a walk-up stone top bar with a sink. Under the bar, there is a 2-drawer fridge, ice maker, and liquor storage. To port of the bar, one will find the port door entrance to the vessel and a large on-deck day head.
Forward starboard of dining, one will find a stairway down to the 3 spacious guest cabins. This area offers a formal foyer with access to the starboard entry door. From the foyer, one can gain access to the pilothouse up a short set of stairs. Continuing forward one will find a large “Country Kitchen” Style galley with large windows offering an open feel, spacious granite counter tops with an island equipped with ice maker and silver and cutlery storage within. There is a U-shaped settee and table forward in the area. The galley has its own TV and entertainment system. To starboard and forward one can go down a set of stairs to the crew quarters with an over and under berth, large bath with shower, refrigeration, and washer and dryer.
From the main deck foyer, one can go down the stairs to a guest foyer offering entrance to 3 staterooms including a full-beam master stateroom with king berth and his and her bathrooms, two large walk-in closets, large chest of drawers to starboard with settee to port and a TV on the aft bulkhead. Aft to port is a queen berth guest stateroom with ensuite, closet, storage, and entertainment. Aft to starboard is a twin berth cabin with an ensuite, closet, storage, and entertainment. The guest foyer also offers a full-size stackable washer and dryer.
Back at the main foyer, one can enter the Raised Pilothouse up a short set of stairs. Once there one will find state-of-the-art navigation and communication with new Garmin equipment in March 2023. Excellent visibility comes from wrap-around windows. There is a leather-covered settee with a teak table and storage to port for rechargeable radio equipment, printer, etc. From the pilothouse, one can gain access to the flybridge. Here one will find a fully equipped helm with a Pompanette captain’s chair and wing stations on either side. Behind the helm, one will find a storage cabinet to port with two fridge drawers. There is a built-in settee with a table on either side with a swing-down TV from the ceiling which is visible from both settees. The area is covered by a custom hardtop and fully enclosed EZ2CY covers front, side and rear that can be opened as needed. Further aft one can go to the boat deck, which is a perfect area for an inflatable tender and when the tender is launched it makes for an excellent lounging area that includes a Frigibar, powered cooler (fridge and freezer). Dual halogen floodlights mounted on the radar mast provide abundant nighttime illumination of the boat deck area.
One can access WORTHY’S large working foredeck from either side door. The deck forward is wide with high bulwarks making it safe for crew and guests. There is a large bosun for storage forward as well as well as two bench settees with cushions.
WORTHY has a spacious aft deck with a settee, two chairs, cocktail tables and a throw rug. From this area, one has access to a larger integral swim platform which is perfect for tender pickups and staging for all the water toys. The swim platform offers access to a lazarette area and engine room.
WORTHY’S engine room is spacious allowing easy access for servicing the main engines, generators, and all equipment.
Owner Stateroom
Forward from the lower deck stateroom foyer is the master stateroom, with port and starboard cedar walk-in closets outboard. A centerline king-sized berth is set against the forward bulkhead with bedside tables and reading lights on either side. Flanking the primary master berth to port is a settee and to starboard are gorgeously crafted drawer bureaus with abundant storage. Above are opening portlights with custom window treatments. The master stateroom is furnished with a complete entertainment system His and her Hers heads are located forward and may be accessed from either side of the berth. A large marble-lined shower separates the two heads. The floors and countertops in the heads are marble, with under mount sinks.
Guest Staterooms
There are port and starboard double staterooms aft from the lower deck stateroom foyer with arched doorways mimicking the primary stateroom entry doors. The port guest stateroom is a VIP cabin, with an athwartship queen berth. The starboard guest stateroom has twin lower berths. Both guest staterooms are furnished with cedar hanging closets, built-in dressers, and integral entertainment. Each stateroom boasts an ensuite marble-lined head and shower.
Crew Quarters
Crew quarters are forward of the galley, accessed by a stairway from the galley area forward of the pilothouse. At the base of the stairway is the crew laundry area (with the crew head and shower to port). There is an Avanti, refrigerator/freezer in the crew companionway. The crew cabin is forward with upper and lower berths and a hanging locker on the opposite side. The crew cabin also has its own entertainment center. There is an escape hatch/skylight to the foredeck from the crew cabin.

Black Water System
The vessels’ black water system comprises of five “HeadHunter Royal Flush” heads operated via freshwater pressure and vortex macerator pumps with a main holding tank located below the engine room sole. There is a HeadHunter Type II MSD system to treat the black water, which can then be discharged overboard when permitted, and there is a deck cap for dockside pump-out option when required.
Grey Water System
The vessels’ grey water system comprises of a main holding tank in the engine room, with two small sump boxes located in bilge areas. The main holding tank is equipped with a 208-volt discharge pump, and the sumps are equipped with 12 and 24 volt DC pumps connected to float switches allowing automatic discharge when required.
