The keel, stringers and chines are laminated using Laurel Blanco and West Systems Epoxy Resin
The hull is laminated with three layers of Cordia Alliodora (common name Laurel Blanco) which has characteristics, but not color, very similar to Honduran Mahogany. The lamination is done exclusively with West Systems epoxy resin. Absolutely no vinylester, or polyester resin is used in the fabrication of these boats. Although epoxy is about 4 times as expensive as the other two, we refuse to compromise on this critical point.
